About Debra Flics:
Debra Flics is a psychotherapist in private practice in New York City. She is a graduate of the NYU School of Social Work (1992) and the National Institute for the Psychotherapies four-year program in Psychoanalysis and Comprehensive Psychotherapy (1998). In addition to being a psychotherapist, Debra is a meditation and dharma teacher. She is the Guiding Teacher for a women’s sangha, a teacher at Downtown Meditation, and previously served on the Teachers’ Council at New York Insight Meditation Center. Her article “What Meditation Can’t Cure”, appeared in the summer 2017 edition of Buddhadharma Magazine.
