Tom is a licensed clinical social worker and a faculty member and former board member at the Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy. He maintains a full-time psychotherapy practice and facilitates Mindfulness Based cognitive therapy groups in Massachusetts. Tom has been practicing mindfulness meditation since 1987. He is a contributing author of the book Mindfulness and Psychotherapy, and co-author of Sitting Together: Essential Skills for Mindfulness-Based Psychotherapy.
